Donations

So, although I decided to adjust this goal a little, I have met it, at least for 2007. Instead of giving everyone in my family regular presents, I gave them all donations to an organization that provides support for those in need in Africa.

I felt really good about the gift and even talked my mom into doing it for our neighbors instead of giving candy or ornaments or anything else we usually do. All told, my mom and I gave $250 to charity over the holidays. $100 of that was mine.

I'm really glad I found a way to incorporate my goal into my regular activities because I think that was a big part of achieving it.
