JET Program

The JET Program is run by the Japanese government and provides a job teaching English within the Japanese school system.

I submitted the first part of my application on November 14, 2007.

The supplemental parts are confirmed as arriving on December 1, two whole days before the deadline (whew!).

I am kind of frustrated, though, because one of my transcripts never came and had to be replaced with a letter from the Global Education Office. Luckily, they were happy to do it and I think it still matched the requirements.

I'll hear in early February whether or not I've been invited back for an interview, so that's exciting.
