I submitted my application to University of Michigan's joint Women's Studies and English PhD program on December 2. I feel like this program is the best fit for me if I stick with a program in the U.S. even though I'm sure Michigan is frigid. There are plenty of faculty teaching in all of my areas of interest and I felt like my supporting documents were pretty strong. I also have really liked all the kids I've met from Michigan over the years and that's a pretty important part of it.
Now I've just got to get my transcripts sent off, which hopefully won't be too terrible. AND, I got the last set of transcripts I was looking for in the mail today!
